Brian Collins drove solo to a historic overall and Trophy Truck victory in his No. 12 Collins Motorsports Mopar® Dodge Ram 1500 in the Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250 on March 15, 2008. The win came in just the third race for the Mopar Dodge Ram and marked the first triumph for a Mopar-powered Dodge truck in a SCORE event since 1979.
Collins also joined forces with Chuck Hovey to earn the Unlimited Class and overall triumph in the SNORE Mint 400 in March 2008. The pair also teamed for a third-place finish in the SCORE Baja 500, a runner-up in the SCORE Terrible's Primm 300 and a seventh-place finish in the final 2008 SCORE Trophy Truck standings.
