Strong East Coast Swing Vaults Mopar-Powered Joey Saldana Back into World of Outlaws Points Lead

Mopar-powered Kasey Kahne Racing driver Joey Saldana used three Top-Five finishes during the first East Coast swing of the season to reclaim the top spot in the World of Outlaws championship standings.

Saldana currently leads 20-time series champion Steve Kinser by 13 markers. The veteran scored a runner-up finish on Thursday, May 13, at Williams Grove Speedway in Pennsylvania and followed that up with a fourth-place finish on Friday at the Williams Grove half-mile. Saldana wrapped up the weekend with another runner-up performance at Virginia Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 15.
