Drivers from 10 States Claim USAC Mopar .25 Midget 'Battle at the Brickyard' Titles
Youngsters from 10 states realized the racing dream of a lifetime with victories at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, July 10, during feature events at this year’s "Battle at the Brickyard" for USAC’s Mopar .25 Midgets. A total of 267 cars competed in the spectacular event, held in the shadows of the famed IMS Pagoda on July 6–10.
Main event winners in the many USAC Mopar .25 Midget classes included Neal Allison, Blake Bower, Caleb Cagle, Elwood Carroll, Cooper Clouse, Seth Crandall, Nick Drake, Michael Fanelli, Logan Huggler, Jarid Irvan, Joshua Jackson, Tommy McCarthy, Ross Rankine, John Ruggeiro Jr., Tyler Shullick, Nicholas Snyder and Tyler Walker.
Distinctive brick trophies were awarded to the podium finishers in each class, along with USAC medallions. The entire event was streamed live to a worldwide audience on USAC’s Web site, http://www.usacracing.com.
