Dean Stockwell and Brittany Tobias Named Mopar Honorary Pit Crew Members at Las Vegas NHRA Nationals
Dean Stockwell, Wholesale Parts Manager of Larry Roesch Chrysler-Jeep®-Dodge in Elmhurst, Ill., and Stockwell's Wholesale customer, Brittany Tobias of Northern Frame, were chosen to serve as honorary Team Mopar pit crew members at the Las Vegas NHRA Nationals on Sunday, Nov. 2. The pair was picked as part of the Mopar Winner's Circle program.
Stockwell and Tobias were introduced during driver intros in the Don Schumacher Racing hospitality area, and both received team shirts from Mopar/Oakley Dodge Charger R/T driver Gary Scelzi. Tobias spent the day with Scelzi's pit crew, while Stockwell was paired with Rockstar Energy Drink Dodge Charger R/T pilot Jerry Toliver's team.
"It's been great. Everybody has been very nice and very accommodating," remarked Stockwell, 38, and a native of Detroit, Mich. "I've been a drag racing fan my whole life, and Gary's my favorite. This has been a real special weekend."
Parts managers from Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealerships are eligible to enroll in the Mopar Winner's Circle program. There is no cost to enroll. The final 2008 Mopar Winner's Circle Honorary Pit Crew Members will be announced at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals, scheduled for Nov. 13–16.
