2012 USAC Mopar National Midget & Mopar .25 Midget Series Schedules Announced

The 2012 USAC Mopar® National Midget Series and "Generation Next" Mopar .25 Midget Series schedules were recently announced, and will take the best midget and .25 midget drivers from coast-to-coast.

The USAC Mopar National Midget Series season will kick off at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C. on March 30–31. The season will conclude with the traditional Turkey Night Grand Prix at Irwindale (Calif.) Speedway in November.

Currently 24 dates at 17 different tracks in eight states are on the 2012 calendar, including the "Hut Hundred" at Tri-State (Ind.) Speedway, "The Night Before the 500" at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, the "Four Crown Nationals" at Eldora Speedway in Ohio and the "Gold Crown Nationals" at Tri-City (Ill.) Speedway. Indiana Midget Week also dots the schedule, with five tracks hosting five events in as many nights.

The "Generation Next" Mopar .25 Midget Series opens 2012 on March 2–4 with the "Spring Training Spectacular" in Phoenix, Ariz., and the season wraps up with the "Four Crown Nationals" at Little E in Rossburg, Ohio, Sept. 21–23.

A record 15 events in 12 states, plus a non-points special event are on the current slate including "The Battle at the Brickyard" in Indianapolis, Ind., the "Mega Mopar Weekend" in Kalamazoo, Mich. and the "eBay Motors Midwest Championship" in Xenia, Ohio. Just as in 2011, a driver’s best five finishes will be credited toward their season point total to determine the champions.
